WINTER PARK, Fla. (May 2, 2018) – In its latest bulletin, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) released Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) preliminary data from IVF cycles completed in 2016 and final data from 2015 cycles performed in the United States and The IVF Center bested the national average in three major categories.
The clinic’s in vitro fertilization (IVF) live birth rate with women under 35 using their own eggs in less than two egg retrievals and two embryo transfers per patient is 69.6%. In two other major ART categories for the same aged women – Final Cumulative Outcome per Egg Retrieval – the clinic beat the national average by almost 5.5%, with a success rate of 59.3% in less than two embryo transfer cycles; and for Final Primary Outcome per Egg Retrieval, The IVF Center attained a near 50% live birth rate, compared to the national average of 41.7%.
“The SART results are a testament to the commitment and proficiency of our entire team to help families in the Central Florida region and around the world achieve their dream of having children,” says Mark P. Trolice, M.D., founder of The IVF Center. “We strive day in and day out to increase the success rates of our patients while giving them the most outstanding, relaxed and personalized IVF experience available. At The IVF Center, we are very proud of our success rates and the fact our patients never feel like just a number.”
Other notable success rates for The IVF Center show that for women less than age 35, the multiple pregnancy rate was 6% compared to the national average of 21%. In women aged 35-37, the chance of live birth from one egg retrieval is 55% with an average of less than two embryo transfer cycles. In 2014, the center reported the oldest woman in the U.S. to achieve a live birth from IVF using her own eggs.
