Mark P. Trolice, M.D., director of The IVF CenterSM, and his wife attended this year’s Advocacy Day, on May 15-16 in Washington D.C., organized by RESOLVE, a national infertility patient advocacy organization.

This year’s Advocacy Day was in partnership with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Advocacy Day is a bi-partisan RESOLVE event where the infertility community comes together in Washington, D.C. to talk to members of Congress about important issues, like increased access to family building options and financial relief.

RESOLVE holds this annual event to allow patients to have their voices heard. They make appointments with members of Congress and provide training and information to empower patients in advocating. Advocacy Day is an excellent opportunity to meet RESOLVE leaders and others from the infertility community who want to make a difference and deliver a message that people with infertility matter.

Founded in 1974 by Barbara Eck, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is a 501(c)(3), national patient advocacy organization. Ms. Eck founded RESOLVE to bring together other women facing infertility. She began the first RESOLVE support group around her kitchen table. Today RESOLVE provides free support groups in more than 200 communities, is the leading patient advocacy voice, and serves as the go-to organization for anyone challenged in their family building.
